GUIDELINES FOR USERS OF THIS FORUM

1. This is is a public forum. While it is aimed at people who are tryin to conceive, parents-to-be or parents of young children, anyone may join the group. New users are asked to respect the community which has grown in the forum; established members are asked to welcome new members.

2. Park your flame-thrower at the door. Misunderstandings are quite possible when we use email communication. If you see something that you don't understand please ask questions, rather than to accuse or condemn. Try to be aware of the sensitivities of others when posting on contentious topics like race, gender, politics or religion. If you feel a posting is offensive in some way, please report the matter to admin rather than responding on the forum itself. The admin moderator reserves the right to take action or not, especially where perceptions are involved.

3. Be wary of virus warnings. Don't send them to the group unless you are absolutely sure of their authenticity.

4. Bandwidth in South Africa is expensive. To try to cut down on the time that topics take to download, please limit the size of pictures that you post on the forum. It would be appreciated if you could keep them to 600 pixels in width x 400 in height (or the other way round if your picture is vertical) and under 200kbs.

5. If anyone receives a private message which is threatening, derogatory, hate speech or the like - please don't involve the whole forum! Copy and pm admin with the text of the message and the name of the person who sent it.
