500g Potjiekos potatoes washed
2 packets fresh mushrooms washed
1 packet pattie pans washed
4 medium onions sliced
4 medium tomatoes diced
Herbs of your choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil
Method.
Take about a meter of heavy duty foil and line a baking tray with one edge of the foil.
Oil tge bottom of the foil to cover the foil.
Add veggies, spices and herbs .
Close the contents with overlapping foil.
Fold the edges of the foil twice to seal the contents. Make sure that the foil does not tear. Lay the baking tray on the grid and cook for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Tip: To prevent that the meat get cold while you wait for the veggies, put the veggies on before you start the meat.
